The system will automatically notify the nearest rest areas or public park for you to rest.

About the connectivity, this RV 770 can be connected to your Smartphone or even Garmin Smartwatch. If you connect it to your phone, you can get the hands free feature for receiving calls or looking for new places. The available wifi connection is also really helpful for updating the maps and routes, which would be done automatically.  Plus from your screen, you can also get a view of your RV’s rear camera. Garmin RV 780

Okay, not long after the launch of RV 770, Garmin RV 780 released to the market. Many people were hoping to get a new blast feature that will make this device worth the upgrade. Speculations have been made here and there about this bad boy. But sadly, RV 780 didn’t come with really significant differences.

Garmin RV 780 is still a reliable GPS device, yes, but considering the price is about a hundred more than RV 770, it’s not that worth the money. You get a 6.95 inch screen (0.15 more than 770), plus all the features previously available in older products. The 0.5 inch in screen upgrade is also not that shining anyway. But, aside from serving you with the 2D maps and routes, now you may look at the 3D map as well right beside it. The buildings, roads, and simple line of scenery are now shown in 3D images.

But aside from that 3D features, you can still get the older features, only with the upgrade on information and data. Other than that, it’s still the same old Garmin GPS device. Even it’s lost the connectivity to Garmin Smartwatch, which can be considered as a minus point here. But, with all that matters, Garmin 780 still becomes a great device to have, especially for the people who want to experience Garmin GPS navigation system for the first time. It’s still very useful and helpful for all RV drivers.
